President - Ashlee Rangel Meet your officer team! Hello Imperial FFA, I’m Ashlee Rangel and I will be serving as your President this year. I’m an incoming junior and a third year member of this organization. A little bit about me is that I’ve raised market goats as my SAE and I was able to be Imperial’s Goat Headbarnsman last year. I was also on the soccer team, swim team, and a High School Explainer in IVDZ. After I graduate, hopefully I’ll be accepted to a college that I want such as Cal Poly or U.C. Davis and study in animal science or agricultural business. Thank you for this opportunity, I’m excited and thrilled for this upcoming year and getting the chance to meet all of you. Being in FFA has opened up great opportunities for me and made me a better and happier person so I can’t wait to see what Imperial FFA does for you!
Vice President - Haylee Ray Meet your officer team! Hey Everyone! My name is Haylee Ray and I am this years Vice President! This is my 4th year in Imperial FFA and my 2nd year being a Chapter Officer and a Sectional Officer! In FFA I raise Market and Breeding Swine as well as Dairy Heifers. Outside of my FFA life I enjoy being apart of many clubs such as IVDZ, Class Cabinet, and Junior Fair Board! I plan on attending a 4 year university to study Agriculture Education! I am most excited to engage with new FFA members as I round out my FFA career serving Imperial FFA! I can’t wait to start this school year with all of you!
Secretary - Andrea Acuna Meet your officer team! Hey guys! My name is Andrea Acuna and I’ll be serving as your 2019-2020 Chapter Secretary. For my SAE project this year I will be raising a market hog. Another club i’m very involved with other than FFA would be Class Cabinet. Thank you for selecting me as this years Secretary & I cant wait to see what we accomplish as a chapter!
Treasurer - Jazyln Butler Meet your officer team! Hello! My name is Jazlyn Butler and I will be serving as your 2019-2020 Imperial FFA Chapter Treasurer. For my SAE, I create agricultural research projects. I am involved in other activities such as class cabinet, IVDZ, CSF, and track. This year I am really looking forward to interacting with each and every member! As this new year approaches, one of my goals is to push the members of our chapter to achieve greatness and find their pride, passion, and purpose within our organization. Thank you for choosing me as your chapter treasurer. I hope everyone enjoyed their summer and I can’t wait to see to see you all soon!
Reporter - Kennedy Pechtl Meet your officer team! Hey! My name is Kennedy Pechtl & I’m your 2019/2020 Imperial FFA Reporter! I am a junior & third year member of FFA. Aside from managing our chapters’ social media, I raise Nigerian Dwarf goats, feeder calves & dairy heifers. Outside of being your Reporter, I am the Southwest Valley 4-H Vice President & an Imperial County All Star Ambassador. Just in case I find myself getting bored with all my spare time, you can find me at the pool giving swim lessons & lifeguarding. In this next year, I hope to get to know all of our members & work with my officer team to ensure that this year is one filled with lots of Pride, Passion, & Purpose!
Sentinel - Jasmin Vizcarra Meet your officer team! Hey! I’m Jasmin Vizcarra, your 2019-2020 Imperial FFA Sentinel. I’m a third year member and an incoming junior. For my SAE project, I raise boer goats. Outside of FFA, I’m in CSF and participate in community service around the valley. After graduating high school, I plan on attending U.C. Davis and studying to become an Ag. teacher. I’m so excited to start the school year and meet all you guys.
2nd Vice President - Kelsey Gonzalez Get to know your officer team! Hey guys ! My name is Kelsey Gonzalez, and I am currently serving as your Imperial FFA Chapter 2nd Vice President! As well as, your Imperial Section Historian. I raise feeder calves, as my SAE, and I love competing in public speaking contests. I am 15 years old and a sophomore this year. Outside of the FFA you can find me playing volleyball, basketball, being with friends/family, and of course ANYWHERE that involves food!! I enjoy conversations and making new friends. I am beyond excited to work with each and everyone one of you.
Committee Chair - Maya Arviso Get to know your officer team! Hey everyone! I am Maya Arviso, your 2019-2020 Imperial FFA Committee Chairman. I am so excited to be an officer again so I could get the pleasure to work with all our amazing members. I love meeting new people and making them laugh, so don’t be afraid to talk to me! I am a third year member and a junior. As an SAE, I raise feeder calves with Imperial FFA. Other than FFA, I am involved with IVDZ and CSF. After high school, I plan on going to college and becoming a conservationist to preserve our Earth.
2nd Committee Chair - Mekennah Clayton Get to know your officer team! Hi! My name is Mekennah Clayton. I am your 2019-2020 2nd Committee chairman. I have been raising sheep for 9 years now and 5 years ago I started a breeding project. As of right now, my flock consists of 10 sheep. I am proud of my sheep and I have passion a for what I do. This year I hope to get to know you all a little better and hope that you get to know me as well. Let’s make this year one to remember. Thank you for voting me as your 2nd Committee Chairman.
Historian - Karina Ruvalcaba Get to know your officer team! Hi! I'm Karina Ruvalcaba and your 2019-2020 Imperial FFA Historian!!! I am 15 years old, a sophomore, and a second year member in our organization. I am also apart of the A-Team because I plan to become a Link Crew leader next year along with applying to become an officer! Other than school related activites I like to bake desserts for my big family. I have 2 dogs Lulu, a poodle, and Sophia, a pitbull. Fun fact: My favorite color is blue! National Blue of course! In my first year of being apart of FFA, I had the opportunity to really understand what FFA was really about. It's not all about having an SAE project, but more about opening doors for your future and showing you agricultural careers you might be interested in. I'm excited to get to meet and know everyone! Photographer - Ashley Parras Get to know your officer team! Hi my name is Ashley Parras and I will be your 2019-2020 Imperial FFA photographer. I am an incoming senior and this will be my second year in FFA. As my SAE project I raise sheep and absolutely love it. Interesting fact my first sheep’s name was Buzz and the sheep I am gonna get this year I am naming woody:).Some other things I like doing on my free time is hearing music(Anuel AA), playing basketball, watching Doger games, meeting new people, and spending time with my loved ones. I am really excited for this year, it being my last and I can’t wait to meet you all and get to know each and every one of you. It’s gonna be an amazing year!
Parliamentarian - Cassidy Estrada Get to know your officer team! Hey guys! My name is Cassidy Estrada and I’m your 2019-2020 Imperial FFA Parliamentarian! Thank you guys so much for electing me for this position and I can’t wait to work with you guys this year. A few things about me are that I raise feeder calves and I play volleyball. I’m 15 years old and in the future I hope to own my own cattle ranch.
The Chapter Goal
The 2019-2020 officer team of the Imperial High School FFA organizations' main goal is to make a positive impact in the lives of students by helping them realize their leadership potential, personal growth and become successful within Agriculture Education and life.
